IF, as I believe, the grandfather of James Gillespie is Thomas/Hannah Tincher Kincaid which I think can be proven through GPS and (again IF, this one would be much harder to prove and would require additional testing) Thomas is the son of John the Weaver, then we are talking about a very close social family in Albemarle Co. with at least one researcher suggesting that they were brothers and cousins. Unless there is a maternal connection (as is the case on Anthony Creek in Greenbrier Co. and Jackson River in Alleghany Co. where the Elliot and Dean families closely connect C-2 and A-1 Kincaids) then the genetic connection in Albemarle could be no more than a generation or 2 back.
