"Kincaid Family Researches at Random in Scotland, Ireland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky and Illinois" by James Kimble Young, Jr. is a typescript published by Young in Springfield, Illinois. Young is an Archibald descendant of the A&A line. I have not seen this particular typescript but in others sometimes there is good citation of sources, sometimes none. It is my understanding that the direct descendant line of Archibald in Sangamon/Menard Cos., Illinois, considered Young's work to be so full of errors that they eventually stopped cooperating with him and closed their family records to him. For example, it is Young who in the 1940s/50s jumped to the conclusion that the Thomas Kincaid who married Abigail Irons was son of Archibald, cementing the thought into Thomas descendants in Kentucky. Current evidence favors Andrew of A&A as father of this Thomas. -----Original Message----- >From: "Peter A.
