Has the family of this George Kincaid been determined? His widow Sarah Perkins Kincaid lived a few households away from Thomas/Mary/Lucinda in the 1850 Lewis County census. No. 27 Committee of Privileges and Elections on the Contest from Bath County "In relation to the vote of the said George Kincaid, it appears by his own deposition that he married a daughter of Tyrus H. Perkins, deceased, on the 11th day of January 1844; that the said Perkins is charged on the commissioner's book with 100 acres of land assessed at ten cents per acre. The said Perkins has been dead about fifteen years, having left three children- the wife of the deponent, one who married Branch O. Morgan, and one who is still under age. The said Morgan, he thinks, has disposed of his interest in said land and did not vote upon it, as the tract has never been divided as far as deponent has been informed. By reference to the land book for Bath County for 1843, it appears that the estate of Tyrus H. Perkins is charged with 100 acres of land assessed at ten cents per acre. 18.
