He returned in the summer of 1747 and the next year, Sunday, 24 Apr, he was killed in another Indian attack. Note: W. G. Davis (MMF V 1, p 234) says Elizabeth Carr m Na pthali Kincaid; however, LND (pp 400-401) shows the possibility that it was his son, James, who actually married Elizabeth. James was captured in 27 Sep 1745 by Indians, returned the summer of 1747, and killed in another attack of 24 Ap r 1748. It is entirely possible that he married Elizabeth a fter his return in 1747 and this is why I can find no children of Elizabeth (Carr) Kincaid.
