Norman- Just want to offer a big ongoing THANK YOU for all your work sorting us all out. Your research has certainly been helpful to me over the years, as much for knowing to whom I'm NOT related as to whom I am. Thanks, Dick. I came up with the 1880 project to get me through the darkest part of winter. Since I'm retired I have plenty of time to key stuff. So once I started state by state, and being the goal oriented person I am, a once daunting project was gradually completed. I hear there is another winter coming in 2011-2012; I guess I could take up the 1850 project then. Also, the 1880 Census is free at: http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.asp and any researcher can validate any record in the 1880/1881 project. I also thought that the DNA project will be driven by research. Research is driven by available data. If I made all of my Kincaid information available to Kincaid researchers that would drive traffic to the my Index of Kincaide. I guess Rootsweb and Ancestry.com is largest genealogy research site. So I hope researchers will see the benefit of DNA testing by the way my information is organized. I did all the keying so there are going to be keying errors; and I am constantly cleaning them up. I'm also having fun, which means I can't leave this project alone. Thanks, Dick.
