    3. Harold 'Kenneth' Kinkade may be a descendant of the David Kinkead who went in the early 1800's to Missouri and established Ft. Kinkead. This David is believed to have been the son of Matthew Kinkead & Elizabeth McTeer. >From Pennie Milicivech: Andrew Kincaid born in 1812 in Missouri perhaps in Boone County. He married Elizabeth Barnes in 1835 in Boone County, Missouri. Before 1850 he lived in Monroe and Lewis Counties. In 1850 he is recorded living in Scotland County, then in 1860 In Boone County. He left Boone County with some of his children and settled in Monterey County of California were he died after 1880. His children: William 1838 James D. 1839 Went to California, was married Enoch 1840- died before 1860 Sarah J. 1844 John 1844 later went to Fannin TX and has living relatives Robert 1846 Went to California Andrew J. 1849 Rebecca Jane 1851-1933 Went to California, married and has living family Rebecca Jane Kincaid and Lucy Kincaid said that they were cousin's this is written in letters and the family bible. MO June 10 1851. I have her Bible, and her first entry is about her parents as follows: Andrew Kinkead was born October the 13 1811 Elizabeth Kinkead was born March the 14 1817 and was married February th 26 1835 and died the 28 of October 1853 Rebecca and her father went to California in the 1860s where she married Samuel Theodore Rutherford in Castroville, Monterey Co in 1870. In 1887 they moved to Tulare County, where she lived until 1933. After hanging his spurs up, he married arbara Pitman on Sept. 18, 1954, and was baptized and became a member of irdville Baptist Church. He was a paint and drywall contractor in the North exas area for the next 50 years. Kenneth was a great family man who put his ids and grandkids first. He was a hunter and outdoorsman who loved horses, he mountains and old Ford tractors. Kenneth was preceded in death by his arents; brothers, A.L., Leon, Charles and Jerry Kinkade; and sisters, Peggy arrett, Gaynell Toney and Virginia Ann Ryder. Survivors: His wife of 56 ears, Barbara Kinkade; brother, Harvey Kinkade of Burleson; son, Jeff and ife, Paula, of Bedford; daughter, Brenda Smith and husband, Larry, of China pring; grandchildren, Melinda Shows and husband, Brock, of Liberty Hill, ustin Smith and wife, Kim, of Greenwood, Trey Smith and Whitney Wade of hina Spring, and Daniel Kinkade of Bedford; and great-granddaughter, Brynlyn hows.
