John Arbuthnott & wife, Jean Dunbar of Balleny, County Down, Ireland, 1700 This line to Pennsylvania in 1855 via Mary Ann Arbuthnott who married James Watt in Pennsylvania. James Watt was born in County Antrim, Ireland in 1825. James Watt & Mary Ann Arbuthnott’s daughter Jane Elle Watt was my grandfather, Carl Duncan’s mother. Simon Hadley was from Dublin, came to Pennsylvania in 1712. Nellie May Hadley, my great-grandmother is from this line. James Lindley born 1681, was from Ballinclash, County Wicklow, Ireland, his son Thomas intermarried with the Hadleys. Thomas Dunn was born in 1771 in County Tyrone, Ireland, he is the grandfather of Mary Ann Dunn who married John G. Kincaide. He came to the United States in 1797. James Dumars was also from Ireland, his daughter Elizabeth married Oliver Dunn, son of Thomas Dunn above. And thanks to Peter for Samuel Smith born in County Derry, Ireland in 1774. My Duncan line is also believed to have come from Ireland through Thomas Duncan and his six sons as are the McMickles or McMichaels. Sincerely Norman Kincaide
