Never thought of myself as a "lurker", just insufficient free time at present to pursue any meaningful research; am descended from Thomas Kincaid, b.1740 Ireland(?), d.1845 Crawford County, Illinois. He is purported to have served as an Orderly Sergeant with Colonial forces at the Battle of Bunker Hill, where his son, Samuel, served as a drummer boy. Will continue to follow these conversations with interest, pending my retirement later this year.
