Some of the Kincaids in Ray Co., MO are also from the Thomas Kincaid/Martha Wyatt line. My grandfather, John Asbury Kincaid and his brother Thomas Eli Kincaid was born in Ray Co., Mo.. Their parents Thomas Asbury Kincaid and Idella Josephine Grimes moved to western Oklahoma before statehood and were pioneers there along with other brothers and sisters of Thomas Asbury Kincaid. Both the John Kincaid/Nancy Young line and the Thomas Kincaid/Martha Wyatt line had children or grandchildren that married into the same Grimes family. The Kincaid and Grimes families originally moved from Fincastle, TN. before moving to Ray Co., MO.
