It is interesting that Brisbanes lived on lands adjacent to the lands of Kincaid in Campsie Parish, County Stirling, Scotland. They were in the lands of Muckcroft on the northwest side of the Kincaid lands. For some time, I wondered if they had a common origin (i.e. from a same tribe or extended family. I noticed that so far there is only one Brisbane Y-DNA result with Family Tree DNA. This certainly does not give us any real picture of the family. I think we should encourage or challenge more Brisbanes to get tested with Family Tree DNA. It would be quite something if many Brisbanes turn out to be close matches to Kincaids! Best wishes! Peter
