That's the gist of the whole project, to be of service, make it easy to use, and direct traffic to the Kincaid DNA project. This is a great effort. We are fortunate that you have the time, and health to do this. The number of Kincaids in the 1870 Census appeared to be a manageable number to get done today. So I finished extracting the Kincaids from the 1870 Census. The result was surprising. Unless I missed some Kincaids of various spellings there are roughly the same number of Kincaids listed as white in the 1870 Census as there were in 1860. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/Kincaid%20Research/Kincaid%20Temporary%20File/kincaids%20in%20north%20carolina%201860-1870%20census.htm I have placed this file in the Temporary File http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/Kincaid%20Research/Kincaid%20Temporary%20File/ http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/Kincaid%20Research/ Sincerely Norman Kincaide For complete information about the Kincaid of all spellings DNA project, including a chart, lineages, and how to participate, go to: www.kincaiddna.org ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to KINCAID-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
