    3. I second Peter's statement! Norman built his site from scratch using his knowledge, money and time. I know it has been very time consuming for Norman but his work will save many of us much more time than he has used building his website. If Norman decides to do another research trip we will contribute to help defray his expenses. There is not a week passes that I don't think about how great it is that the Kincaid Research List has so many good researchers who are willing to share their work. Barbara's post this morning is a good example of sharing to solve a mystery concerning a vetting post. We appreciate all of you who contribute now or have contributed in the past! juntos podemos! يمكن لنا معا! Ensemble, nous le pouvons! gyda'n gilydd fe allwn! Together we can! The number of Kincaids in the 1870 Census appeared to be a manageable number to get done today. So I finished extracting the Kincaids from the 1870 Census. The result was surprising. Unless I missed some Kincaids of various spellings there are roughly the same number of Kincaids listed as white in the 1870 Census as there were in 1860. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/Kincaid%20Research/Kincaid%20Temporary%20File/kincaids%20in%20north%20carolina%201860-1870%20census.htm I have placed this file in the Temporary File http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/Kincaid%20Research/Kincaid%20Temporary%20File/ http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/Kincaid%20Research/ Sincerely Norman Kincaide For complete information about the Kincaid of all spellings DNA project, including a chart, lineages, and how to participate, go to: www.kincaiddna.org ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to KINCAID-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message For complete information about the Kincaid of all spellings DNA project, including a chart, lineages, and how to participate, go to: www.kincaiddna.org ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to KINCAID-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
