I've recently found some interesting family ties between Robert/Anna Helena and Capt. James moved to Christian Co. KY where Guy Kinkead, son of Capt. William ended up. Still working on it, but I haven't tracked down what became of Rachel & Thomas Patton. I have no information on who this Thomas Patton. I also don't have any information on what became of Joseph Kinkead after 1824.

The problem in the lineage is proving that Robert d c1795 (note that Isaiah is adm Robert's estate by then) in Rockbridge Co. is Robert/Anna Helena of Beverly Manor in Augusta Co. While the timing of Robert/Anna Helena's sale of the last of the Beverly Manor land (1770) would allow for Robert of Rockbridge (selling 550a in Rockbridge to Samuel Davis in 1778) to be the same man, I have seen nothing indicating the name of Rockbridge Robert's wife so equating the two Roberts is pure conjecture (though I personally believe it a strong possibility). Perhaps finding the 1778 deed would be of help or perhaps the writer of this lineage knows something we don't.. I am wondering where the 1741 date came from for either Roberts' year of birth. Robert/Anna Helena buy the Beverly Manor land in 1763 so this date is plausible but he also could be older. There is a Robert Kincaid not found in 1748 Augusta Co. taxes.
