Sue, there were TWO Isaiah Kinkeads in Rockbridge/ RBR 08/07/1783 RM-118( ) Isaiah Kincaid m. Mary Berryhill. bond or license date only. Isaiah, son of Robert. NOTE: a Berryhill genealogy website (http://www.berryhill.org/berryhill.htm) gives her name as "Polly", daughter of John Berryhill, or Ireland and Va. The same document mentions James and Isaiah Kincaid (as sons of Polly) receiving land in Polly's brother John Berryhill's will, which was written in 1825 and recorded January 2, 1826 at Lexington, Va. -------------------------------------------------- From: "Sue Liedtke" <seleaml@actionnet.net> Sent: Friday, December 07, 2012 9:53 AM To: <kincaid@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [KINCAID] Robert/Anna Helena and Capt. Evidently Isaiah/Mary Berryhill's will names son Isaiah which supports the information in John Berryhill's will. It doesn't name a son Robert. As indicated in the lineage given for Joseph Byson.
