Dear Kincaid listers I have added Kincaid Ancestors of the 1880 United States Census & 1881 British & Canadian Census Lineages & DNA Samples to each volume of the Kincaid Ancestors of Pennsylvania Timeline. I added it to each volume so a researcher doesn't have to change files to review a DNA Sample number or lineage statement. I didn't know whether some files would load because they were over a million bytes, but they uploaded okay. Sincerely Norman Kincaide
Dear Kincaid listers, I have just uploaded the Kincaid Ancestors of Scottish Ancestry in the 1880 Unites States and 1881 British & Canadian Census to my rootsweb page. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/ Sincerely Norman Kincaide
Dear Kincaid listers, If you would like to have your lineage identified within the 1880/1881 Census please email me your information off the list at [email protected] Dennis Von Ting has been the first to send me his information. The best way to do this is to find your ancestors in the 1880 Census and cut and paste them in an email to me with your known lineage. Lineages with DNA sample numbers will be identified with that number. If your lineage does not have a DNA sample number I'll come up with a six figure number code that will suffice until at which time in the future a DNA sample number can be supplied. Hopefully, this project will identify a great number of, heretofore, unknown lineages in 1880 Census. Anyway, I hope this project will be of great benefit to novice researchers. The 1880/1881 Census are now 130 years old. If an American Kincaid can trace back to the 1880 Census, the odds are likely that researcher can trace back at least two more generations before 1880 or at least find a direction for further research. Few lineages trace back 130 years before the 1880 Census to before 1750, but it gives a good direction by giving the birth place of the individual's parents. The 1880/1881 Census thus provides a middle point between 2010 and 1750. It may take me a while to incorporate this information into the Census records, so be patient. I've done a lot keying lately and there are bound to be errors. But I am constantly cleaning up the files. Sincerely Norman Kincaide
Dear Kincaid listers, I have up loaded two more timelines, the Kincaid Ancestors of Irish Ancestry and the Kincaid Ancestors of African-American Ancestry to my roots web free page at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/ http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/kincaid%20ancestors%20of%20african-american%20ancestry%20in%20the%201880%20united%20states%20federal%20census.htm http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/kincaid%20ancestors%20of%20irish%20ancestry%20in%20the%201880%20united%20states%20&%201881%20british%20&%20canadian%20census.htm Sincerely Norman Kincaide
Dear Kincaid listers, I have uploaded the Kincaid Ancestors of 1880/1881 Census Lineages & DNA Samples and Color code legend to my rootsweb free page, this information has also been added to each volume of the Kincaid Ancestors of the 1880/1881 Census. This information was extracted from the DNA Chart without email address and minus the DNA results. Only the DNA sample number and the lineage information has been provided. Hopefully, I will be able to find each lineage somewhere in the 1880/1881 census. Dear Kincaid listers, I have completed the 1880 Unites States Federal Census of Kincaids and the British/Canadian 1881 Census of Kincaids and they are now posted to my Index of Kincaide: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kincaide/ I hope to add all of the lineages from the DNA chart to each volume, but I wanted to make these volumes available as soon as possible and made available for research. ?Thanks for thinking of us Peter. I was not flooded as I am on higher ground but I feel sorry for all the other people effected. My daughter Rebecca volunteered to help clean and she assisted a lot of other volunteers to clean houses after Brisbane flooded. We read a story on Google News about how some climate scientists believe the rapidly shifting of magnetic poles is causing super storms and found a mention of it's possible effect on DNA mutation rates: Cracks in Earth's Magnetic Shield The Earth's northern magnetic pole was moving towards Russia at a rate of about five miles annually. That progression to the East had been happening for decades. Suddenly, in the past decade the rate sped up. Now the magnetic pole is shifting East at a rate of 40 miles annually, an increase of 800 percent. And it continues to accelerate. Recently, as the magnetic field fluctuates, NASA has discovered "cracks" in it. This is worrisome as it significantly affects the ionosphere, troposphere wind patterns, and atmospheric moisture. All three things have an effect on the weather. Worse, what shields the planet from cancer-causing radiation is the magnetic field. It acts as a shield deflecting harmful ultra-violet, X-rays and other life-threatening radiation from bathing the surface of the Earth. With the field weakening and cracks emerging, the death rate from cancer could skyrocket and mutations of DNA can become rampant.
