Regarding who Sarah Ellen Kimmel Shober's parents are: ---------- In "Biographical Review, Volume 32, Somerset & Bedford Counties, PA," 1899 (pp. 325-326) is a biography of Daniel Kimmel, son of Jonathan and husband of Emeline Landis. According to this account, their daughter "Sarah E., born September 19, 1855, who is the wife of Samuel U. Shober, of Somerset, and has four children--Ulysses S., Jennie I., Clinton and Marley." Dr. Harry Kimmel Stoner's 1937 report on the Kimmels include Daniel and Emeline's daughter "Susan Ellen" who married "Samuel U.
