I thought that Michael Kimmel (1760-1819) married Katerina Elizabeth Zimmerman who was born March 12, 1761. She was the daughter of Johannes Michael Zimmerman (1732-1802) and wife Maria Magdalena Sauter. I am a Zimmerman descendant, but never researched this Michael Kimmel family. The Zimmermans lived in Quemahoning Township near Stoystown in Somerset County. Please tell me if anyone knows more about the Rachel Zimmerman who was listed as Michael Kimmel's wife. Donna Knupp
