Interesting, the idea that these folks might be buried in MO. Do you have a note about where in MO? All I have is "Salisbury PA" on both of them (Michael & Juliana Schwartz Diveley.) For Edward Diveley born 7/13/1818, m. 6/13/1847 (no place given) to Eliza Sterner, died 6/14/1867 in Cedar County MO. according to my notes "Per Jack Schell. Believed killed by Indians in Missouri while trying to locate bounty tract belonging to Lydia Diveley Hazelbarth and William Diveley (siblings) after 29 June 1855. >From the "George genealogies" "Killed by Indians while crossing the plains." Q re Gayle Putt different dates and spouses. Maybe different Edward? Anyway, 1867 doesn't sound overly likely for getting scalped by Indians but I'm not sure where Cedar County is. (Surely does sound like the Lyons KS story though my recollection is one was Schwartz and the other Diveley?) But then I don't see how he could get killed "after 1855" and then have a specific DOD in 1867. So probably I garbled something. Anybody have more specific info on this? Jan
