I had never seen Michael Dively given the title of General, but I do know he fought in the war of 1812. - Juliana Schwartz Dively and my g.g. grandfather Edward Schwartz were brother and sister. - I would like to know where the title of General for Michael Dively came from and anything you have about his military service.
