Kline, Jr. about Logging Railroad Era of Lumbering in Maryland, published 1976." Totten A. Kimmell, one of 14 children of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey F. Kimmell of Somerset Co., PA moved to Swallw Falls area of Garrett County, MD. Three sons and three daughters became involved in the Meadow Mountain Lumber Company. Totten A. Kimmell, b. Sept. 25, 1879. Brother, J. William Kimmell Brother, Daniel O. Kimmell Miss Susan, Catherine, and Idella Kimmell, they took weekly turns cooking for their brothers and their camp crews. >From "Graves of Garrett County, Compiled by Youghiogheny Glades Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Oakland, Maryland."
