I have a record of a Jacob Kreider (c 1742 - c 1822) m1 Susanna Long, who are parents of a Barbara Kreider. This was from Pennsylvania Mennonite Heritage Oct 1985 page 23. I don't know if that is the Jacob which was referred to in Austin Cooper's book. I can't say with any authority who Barbara (Kreider) Musser's father was. I find it confusing. I descend from Mary Kreider who married John Light, parents of Anna Light who married Rudolph Meyer II. In my earlier research I thought Mary Kreider was a daughter of John Jacob Greider (1673-1725) and Anna. This fall a Kimmel descendant sent me her information showing Anna Light was a daughter of Jacob Light and Barbara Lnu (that is the way they spelled it). I've been so swamped I haven't had a chance to check up on this. If this is correct I may not have a Kreider line after all. It looks like I'll have to spend a lot of time straightening this out. Does anyone else show Barbara Kreider (wife of John Musser) to be a daughter of Bishop Tobias Kreider? Debby
