Hi! The newsletter went out today (at last) even though it says it's the December issue Now all I've got to do is 1099s and payroll tax reports etc. before the end of the month. Plus a house plan for a rental house to be started next week..... When I saw this note, though, knew I had to respond. William James Kimmel is in my data base, thank you, as the adopted son of Louis H. and Margaret Edmonds Kimmel. He and his sister were taken from the Orphan Train in 1911 by the Kimmels.. Their actual surname was Potthoff. I had wanted to re-establish contact with these Kimmels and knew we did not yet have them on our mailing list for KFN. Some of William's adopted siblings are still living but did not have addresses for William's children. We also have the granddaughter of William's sister, Connie DePasquale, on our mailing list. Several years ago Kimmel Family news ran an article on William James and the Orphan train connection, and we do have some photos of him included. I'd be happy to send a copy to Nicole, and we'd like to add her to our KFN mailing list. Jan Tompkins
