My daughter was recently approved for membership in the DAR on her ancestor, George Lewis Coffenberger, who married Maria Veronica, daughter of Johann Valentin Kimmel, the immigrant. This was a patriot (who provided supplies for the army) who had never been proved as an eligible Revolutionary War ancestor for DAR lineage. I gathered over 50 pages of documents for submission as proof of each descending generation's birth, marriage, and death.
