It's always possible-at this time it's assumed that your William Kilgore was the same William Kilgore who was listed in Orange Co NC in 1751-1754-then this Wm disappears and about the same time 1755, your Wm shows up in Augusta District GA-but this is supposition-we don't know if it's the same one. However, if he was, doesn't leave much time for him to have spent any time in SC -just passed through-although the area he lived in is very close to SC border. It never hurts to do a little research if that's possible though-you never know what might turn up.
