Does anyone know what the going rate for a 37 marker test is? What is the cheapest rate? Vickie
It's limited to members of Ancestry. Are there any members out there? I'm not. ----- Original Message ----- From: Gail Kilgore<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, September 13, 2008 9:51 PM Subject: Re: [KILGORE] 50% off DNA testing Ohhhh, Ii like these prices better yet. Yes, I am a member! Looks like they are using Relative Genetics, which appears to be linked with the large Sorenson program. Vickie and all The Combs family has been doing extensisve research for years and for the last couple of years have included DNA information too.? I believe that they have they have a "digest" on their site that explains what DNA testing is, what is expected from each set of markers, etc.? I personally have not visited their site for quite some time as I have not been working on my Combs lineage.? I decided to work on my husband's Kilgore line and have been putting together a data base on Kilgores to try to establish a link to Kilgore & Jack of PA as the family tradition said that the Kilgores came from a very large family - 18 kids - and that several generations back there was some kind of falling out and our line went their separate way.? Rita Davis gave me a suggestion to look at Hugh son of Benjamin though she personally had not researched that line of Kilgores.? Soooo the data base and a bare bones :) listing of Mike's grandparents with some facts noted.? I've documented the file with census records, marriage and death records as I could find them.? I've also incorporated the work of others, giving credit accordingly, of their published information on the Internet.? MY DATA BASE IS NOT PUBLISHED, as I don't want undocumented information to get "out there". Rowe, Michael Dayton Living Self? his parents are in their 80's Rowe, Robert Dayton Living Father b.
