Will send this to the board - so that if others are interested, they can also know.   I live in Wharton, which is about 60 miles SW of Houston, going down the coast towards Victoria and Corpus Christi. It is a small town - less than 8,000 - and we really enjoy it. We live about 10 miles out from town and it is really peaceful. Another member - Freda Kilgo (whom I've never met) lives in Bay City, which is about 25 miles from us going towards Matagorda Bay, which was where they had originally predicted that IKE would go. There was a point Friday afternoon, when I was beginning to think that we had made the wrong decision to stay here. (We spent 18 plus hours on the road trying to evacuate from Rita, and I had decided that if I was going to die, then I would rather die at home. - I know that is a crazy way to think, but you have to experience something like this first hand to really understand.).   but it did work out ok - we are safe, and are extremely grateful for that.   Take care,   Nina
