    3. Four of us descendants from Charles Kilgore have been discussing things off-list and have decided to pool our resources and have two male descendants of Charles Kilgore B:1740 died 1823 tested. We are using the FTDNA lab suggested by Robert. It has the most Kilgore submissions-while Ancestry is cheaper-it only has one submission and so we're using the one that has the most. If anyone else of this line would like to join in, please do or perhaps contribute to another line or not at all-your prerogative. I've been noticing that we don't seem to have any male descendants of Robert & Winnie Clayton being volunteered. Also we don't seem to have any descendants of early PA Kilgores or of the Spotsylvania Co VA line or Wake Co NC line. Thanks to Gail we do have Thomas Kilgore & Rebecca Lasley of Cecil Co MD represented (my apologies that I claimed they were in Chester Co MD in earlier messages-I always seem to want to confuse Cecil & Chester Co for some reason). This seems to cover most of the early Kilgores in America (not including the Joseph Killgore line of early Maine) unless someone knows of any other early line? Also, no one's hitting anyone up for money-so could those who aren't responding at least send in your lines to the list? I'm aware that at least one member of this list may be affected by Hurricane Ike and may not be getting any messages at this time because he may be without power and I hope all is well with him. I know he lives in Texas but am not sure where exactly. There's another member of the list also in Texas as well and I hope she's doing okay too. Vickie

    3. Four of us have Charles Kilgore B:1823 covered. You should coordinate with one of the other members. It would be great if we could get a male Robert & Winnie descendant to participate-if you can find one-perhaps you can help sponsor him?
