My line is one that some of the oldies connected to but don't hear from them any more. The first three generations are a little foggy but seem likely possibilities. Peter of Lancaster Co, VA. He was m to Ann Reed and d 1709. His children were: Peter, John, Ann, and Margaret Peter m Mary Haydon, 1 Nov 1722, King George, VA. He d in Spotsylvania Co, VA, 1727. His estate was settled by wife, Mary and brother, John. Peter m Rachel Hunter, Johnston Co, NC, 1762. He was in Wake Co later. If memory serves, Wake was from Johnston. There were three Kilgore men in Wake: William, Isaac, and Peter. William had no children and Isaac went to SC and started a line there. I have communicated with some of his ancestors. James Kilgore/Kilgow/Kilgoe/Kilgo was in Wake, b abt 1777. This group went to Jackson Co, GA. He was m in Wake and had children but m #2 to Frances Pearman in Clarke Co, 1808. I believe he was a brother to Peter, who m Jemima Holyfield. He d in Walton Co, GA, aft 1850. William A. Kilgo, b Gwinnett Co., GA, 1812, m Rebecca Aldridge, d 1873, Itawamba Co., MS. James Jackson Kilgo, b 1853, Marion Co., AL, m Luvenia Chism, 1879, d 1899, Muldrow, OK. Robert Houston Kilgo, b 1883, Savoy, AL, m Carrie O'Bryan, 1903, d 1954, Ada, OK.
