I am not in AZ and am in Colorado and have had to use dial-up but now after waiting all summer for wireless I am on DSL and I can get a message sent in seconds instead of minutes. Jack will be flying back to AZ for a week and then I can get caught up on my emails and my responsibilities. He has kept me hopping, and always on the go. Sunday, we made it to timberline in our ATV's and it rained the whole way and I was all but frozen. Monday, we made it to timberline and to the top of the mountain. We rode the ATV's to timberline and walked the rest of the way to the top. What a view!!! Tuesday, we went to a lake and then took off on a road to ??? and ended up on the Colorado Trail which was a little more than I wanted to tackle to get to timberline. First of all, the Colorado Trail isn't for ATV's and the rocks were too much for me to handle. With my knee I was surprised to see that I could climb rocks up and down to get to the top of that mountain. It was a little sore on Tuesday, laughed to myself and thought maybe it needed a squirt of oil. I lost a very dear friend of mine in August at the age of 57 from brain cancer and she had never been to Colorado or really not too much of anywhere and didn't do a lot of things outside the house. I decided that I am going to live for each day and try and get the most out of each day. Tomorrow, back to the ATV's and Friday we are going to put the dredge/highbanker in the water and then after Jack leaves on Sunday and I get back up here, I think I am going to sleep for a couple of days... ;-)) Hope you have all had a grand summer!! Gail
Cousin Gail, We went to Sutton WV for a Shaw family reunion then went trail riding in our modified Dodge Raider. Something electrical happened and we had to be pulled back. Great trip except for that. We have many friends that go to Colorado for trail riding in their jeep type vehicles. Bob Charles R.
