Squire Grant (a person) either granted or transferred title to Thomas Kilgore. Apparently some land grants were fraudulently granted and Thomas Kilgore appears to have been a recipient. Yes, this is the Thomas Kilgore who was in Robertson Co although I believe it was Thomas Kilgore Jr. born c1759 who fought a King's Mtn and not Thomas Kilgore Sr. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sherry Arnold<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 18, 2008 12:14 PM Subject: Re: [KILGORE] Kilgore-Tennessee Vickie, does this mean Thomas Kilgore fraudlently applied for a Bounty Land Grant? Is this the Thomas that settled near Cross Plains? What is Squire Grant? I am sure I am asking DUMB questions but I never saw this type of document. Forgive my ignorance.
