I am connecting with you in the hope of finding something about my family of origin. My father was Thomas Robert Kilgour born in Melbourne Aust. in 1919 on 9th June. His father was Thomas John who had brothers Dave and, Robert , and 3 sisters Anny Agnus, Maggie, Lottie and Lilly. Their parents were James Kilgour who married Priscilla Phillips. As a lot of your family names are the same as mine I am contacting you with a feeling that I might be on the right path of discovery. I hope to be in Scotland in September of this year and would love to go to where the old family church once stood and to where the remains of the castle still stand.
