Wish this was a more cheerful update but it is not. My sons Pulmonologist came back early from his vacation to see what he could do for him. He has been his lung doctor for most of his life. The doctor told us it was the worst case of pneumonia he has ever seen him have. This is coupled with E-Coli growing in his lungs. He was one a broad spectrum antibiotic but he was not responding to that so they switched him to another antibiotic tonight. In any case he flat out said that if his heart stops he will not resuscitate him due to his ongoing health issues. Just to give you a little background on my son. He was born early with the umbilical cord around his neck causing everything in the neck area to be paralyzed. My son would have been 21 this year. He has already outlived his life expectancy by those 21 years. For the past two years he has lived with a care provider who has taken great care of him. There is numerous people being affected by his illness. Please keep praying for all of those involved. Dd
