He married (1) Martha Cemintha (Mint) (Surminthia) Whited Abt. 1860. She was born 21 Aug 1838 in Claiborne Co., TN., and died 02 Feb 1904. She was the daughter of Claiborne Preston "Press" Whited and Lucinda Lowery. Generation No. 2 2. William Nicley, born 1813. He married 3. Rachel. 3. Rachel, born 1815.
