Many thanks for sending me a copy of the book. I look forward to reading it very much. There is a library in Londonderry that houses census returns for the area from 1901. Other records are held at the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) in Belfast. These can be accessed on the internet. I will send you the web address later when I find it. Unfortunately due to the nature of this part of the world and all of the troubles that have taken place here over the years a lot of the records (census returns etc)have been destroyed and it is difficult to go back beyond the mid 1800's. I can go back to about the 1830's but before that it's down to guesswork and putting two and two together but not being fully sure that they add up correctly. As soon as I find the web address for PRONI I will send it to you. I have it somewhere but can't put my hand on it at present. Christian names that keep popping up in my line are James, Robert, William, Samuel, Isabella, Mar! y, John and others. Please keep in touch.
