The Kilgore BOARDS are located at rootsweb.ancestry.com and when you post a message to the BOARDS the message also posts to the Kilgore MAIL list. You CANNOT reply to a BOARD message on the mail list. If you do, your message goes back to the mail list and not to the sender on the BOARDS. You can only answer a BOARD message on the BOARD list and messages sent to the MAIL list only archive on the MAIL list. If the BOARD list accepts attachments, then only the BOARDS accept attachments. Attachments are not allowed on the Kilgore MAIL list. This is their rules not ours. I subbed Jack Templeton to the MAIL list. I have not heard if he is getting messages. Personally, I don't like to use the BOARDS and very seldom reply to a message on them. But, like I said, that is my choice. I know it gets confusing but is there anything simple when it comes to genealogy? Gail
