I found this part interesting as my grandfather falsified his age at least four times to census takers and when signing up for WW1. When researching it was hard to pin point his age but we all concluded that he was born in 1879. It was not always the census takers, sometimes they really did not know when they were born or they just wanted to be younger than they really are. Dd
