    3. Cindy, I have returned after a long period to work on the genealogy of my Kilgore line. In your message dated August 4, 2001, you indicated that you might have information on the line of Henry M. Kilgore born at Ratcliff, Texas. Any such information would be a big help and greatly appreciated. Henry _____ From: Charles Mcgehee [mailto:cmcgehee01@msn.com] Sent: Saturday, August 04, 2001 10:40 AM To: Henry A. Hill Subject: PC Kilgores Henry this is what I have: Henry M. Kilgore was born at Ratcliff, Texas 25th day of December, 1881, son of J.D. and Jane (Adair) Kilgore. He recieved his education in Texas and came to Fl. in 1902, residing first at Bartow, Fl. where he lived for 3 years. In 1905 he moved to Tampa and 5 years later changed his residence to Plant City, at which time he established Kilgore Seed Co.. almost every seed used in Fl. was handled, also bee-keeping supplies, crate material, fertilizer, poulty supplies and so forth. He also did his part in civicaffairs, and in this connection he was a director in the East Hillsborough Co. Chamber of Commerce, alsoa director of Hillsborough State Bank and a member of the Plant City Kiwanis Club. He was married in Tampa on the 7th of March, 1904 to Flossie Z. Motes. they had five children: Naomi, Mildred, Otis, Lois and Madison. He also ran for the House of Repersenitaves but not sure of the outcome. I personally know Madison's (deseased) wife and his sons. We were in the same Bpt. church at one time. The sons are John M. Kilgore M.D. and Don Kilgore, Atty. I will have to go back through my charts to find out what line Henry's dad comes off of. Hope this is helpful to you. If you need any info on my line let me know. Cindy
