Unfortunately, yes. Vickie tried to help me ages ago but was not successful either. She believes my Avarilla may be from Thomas but we have no proof so I am still facing that brick wall. I copied so many emails to study in hopes of finding my Kilgore but so far have not. Maybe some day. I had thought she was from Stephen because she was in Marion Co, TN when he was but I have not been able to connect with him. And maybe some interest to others, she had two daughters or granddaughters (I forget which now) who looked very American Indian or Spanish (maybe Melungeon, who knows) I have pictures of them and their husbands.
