I have been trying to find the children of Peter & John Kilgore/Kilgo of Spotsylvania. I ordered a film from the VA archives and have been reading it for hours. It is in extremely bad shape. Found nothing I didn't know. Neither men had a will. Peter has an inventory but it doesn't tell me much. The only child that I am sure of is James who belonged to John. Don't know what happened to him.   I have seen the children of John posted on the board but don't know the source.   Also went to Clayton Library in Houston. Same records everywhere but nothing to prove conclusively the parents of Peter & John of Johnston and Wake.   I saw somewhere that William of Wake Co, NC named a brother Peter in his will. Anyone have this?   Wish I could post a success but I am not sure we will ever have a success on this line.   Freda Kilgo Daniel
