Hi Cousins!! Been thinking about this all evening and thought I should share this information with ya'll. As most of you know I met my husband doing genealogy. Well, one of his cousins called us and told us that he had found an old family cemetery in the woods close to our home and one of my husband's uncle's is buried in the cemetery. Well, we got real excited!! They asked me if I would mind going to the cemetery and taking pictures of the markers that are there; so I did. Tonight this cousin called us and told us to please not go back to the cemetery until things clam down because the woman that owns the land told her son that the Murphy's were trying to still her land; claiming that there were people buried there. A scout group went with this cousin and I showed up down there to do my part; along with others that were excited about the find. But now we're being told that anyone that steps on that land again will be killed. So, know how we all share information and try to help each other I thought you all should be warned to be very careful when it comes to finding old cemeteries. NOT everyone will give you a warm welcome. So, will welcome any helpful information about what not to do to get into anymore trouble, I kind of like living and for one will stay away from that cemetery. Your cousin, Linda#1 P.S.
