I'm here...barely. We did something this summer that any self-respecting Kilgore has better sense than to try. We survived a trip to the jungles of Guatemala to see the mayan ruins of Tikal. After an encounter with machine gun toting locals, killer mosquitos, poisonous snakes, spyder and howler monkeys, a bout of malaria-like fever, and these weird 30lb coon-looking kudamundi things, I made it back sick and crippled. Atlanta never looked so good. All ok now. Funny how people will put themselves through so much just to see some 2000 year old stone buildings, rock grafitti, and pyramids that nobody wants to live in anymore. They didn't even have TV or AC. No wonder the mayans abandoned the place and let the jungle have it. I think we'll stick to the beach next time. Mark
