Tom, Thanks for sending this in. As I understand it he moved to Ark. or was living in Ark. in 1872, then in 1874? Would he be the son of Capt. Benjamin Kilgore's son, Hugh, that moved to Audrian Co., Mo. in 1827? I find this interesting, My gggrandfather Jonathan Kilgore was in Fannin Co. TX in 1849, he left a son there, John Jay Killgore, then he went to Ark., in the early 1850's, Benton Co.. My Kilgore's did spell their name Killgore at one time.
