Hi Kilgore cousins, Just got back from a weekend work session at a resort along the Atlantic Ocean (its a tough job, but someone's gotta do it!). It was nonstop work, but it was away from cell phones, computers, pagers and mail. In short, it was blissful. Delighted to see so many cousins come out of the woodwork while I was gone, and I'm sure its about time for me to send along new instructions for the gang. Might try to work on that tomorrow. If anyone lives near Allen, maybe we could arrange for his Meals-On-Wheels delivery driver to type in a message for him. After all, we all know that when you get old like him, it's tough to make the old fingers sing on the keyboard again. And Barbekay is just hiding, Donna, because she's afraid if she sends a message she'll be back on the Old Randy Radar Screen, being one of my favorite 'targets'. To be honest, I haven't felt too funny since September 11. My ministry's in the heart of the Boston business community, and its no surprise they've been hard hit by the events of that day, some directly and others indirectly. Incredible pain and incredible strength mix into days that used to be filled with routine events for so many, and most just want a strong or friendly face around. But it will be nice to make someone laugh again--or groan--or just plain wish Donna hadn't woke me up. Laughter isn't ALWAYS the best medicine, but it certainly seems to fit this group.
