    3. Dear Lois, I am stunned to read your message, but grateful you took the time to tell us of Jack passing away. My prayers are with you and your family for the loss of your husband. I only "met" Jack on another Melungeon Lists, about 4 months ago. He was so generous with his information and helpful. I instantly liked him from afar. When I signed onto the Kilgore lists, there he was again! By reading the lists comments to and from him, I could see he was liked so very much. I am thankful he wrote to me a little about where he grew up. His family were coal miners, like my grandfather, and even some of my mother's brothers, in the 30's in TN. I instantly felt kinship. As a matter of fact, my grandfather of 4 generations ago, was a brother of Jacks' grandfather of the same generation. As I write, I am feeling like I lost a good friend. We will miss him.I will miss him. God bless you,Lois, and Jack, and god be with you through this difficult time. One of Jack's new friends, RoseMary Sofes p.s. Thank you again for writing to us. 3. Dear Lois & Family, I was very sorry to hear about Jack passing away. In just the few short days we were corresponding he showed alot of concern for helping me find out about my Kilgore family.I appreciated that very much. I was also surprised to learn he lived so close here in Washington State. I was very happy to meet this caring man even for just a few short days. Your family are in my prayers. May God comfort you in this difficult time.
