I enjoy the chatting and have found myself greatly moved by prayer requests, especially when someone suggests we all remember to pray at a given time on a given day. I will probably never meet any of the people involved but there is something about a concerted spiritual effort that "gets" to me. Also I have privately e-mailed several listers and chatted about subjects of mutual interest. I like that, too. It widens my horizons and gives me new friends.
