Hi, I had Kilgores in Belmont County in 1820 and 1830. They left there and went other places like on to Iowa, but you might start checking family names for the crew who left western PA. There were several of Patrick Kilgores children and grandchildren who moved on. I can check the records I have and see if there was a James born to any of the ones who left Mercer/Venango counties.
