Hi Gang, I have been on this board for two years now and we have all laughed together, cried together and prayed for each other and it is really sad that one person can spoil all that. I don't know about you but I have never met a Kilgore that doesn't have a since of humor. Why should we have to always act like we are in the Archives? It is raining cats and dogs here in Plant City, Fl. Hope none of you are in the path of this building storm. Cindy (Kilgore) McGehee
Hi Cindy. Your reference to Plant City, Fl caught my attention. My Mother Florence (Kilgore) Hill recounted to me on several occasions a contact during the early part of the 1900's between the Kilgore family in Texas City, TX and Kilgore's in Plant City, Fl. After a review of the notes that I took on those occasions, I would like to relay to you portions of the information and see if there is any connection between your Kilgore line and the Kilgore's that my Mother made reference to. I too am interested in chatting. I have written to all for help finding ancestors but never get a reply. I thought that that was what this site was about. I have to say I am disappointed . I have a sense of humor but there are chat boards for chats. How do I get out of this.
