Don't be disappointed; just be hopeful that one of these days someone WILL put something on the list that DOES relate to your Kilgores. In the meantime, if someone else poses a query that YOU know something about, then SHARE. This board is meant as a tool to use when digging out of the trenches. Oops I mean as a genealogical researching tool. I have found a great deal of info on my Kilgores but I am also at a dead end as to who my Grandfathers other three children are, from his previous marriages. I get pieces of stories from my Aunts and Uncles but they were all so young when their father died that they never knew his family until they were adults. We all must keep in mind that not everyone has our Kilgores and not everyone knows everything. Well Randy is the exception to that rule :) He knows everything about how to make us kick up our heels and laugh. My Uncle has been searching for our line for years it was not until after I joined this list that we found out even more information on our line and he is very grateful for it. Now Daisy: I don't think your long winded enough : ) Charlie: There is nothing to be confused about because we are always in a state of confusion around here. : ) We all share what we find as we find it. Whenever I go to the Family History Center and locate and Kilgores I always share with the list. The same goes for many others on the list. If it was not for Jenna I would have still assumed my grandpas first wife was really his second wife and I would have still been looking for a Maria Roberts instead of a Pearl Roberts. Information gets posted in bits and pieces and all those pieces fit into someone's puzzle at some point in time. Now that is my two cents worth. OK well maybe $2 worth but it is worth a hill of beans which does not amount to much. Have a wonderful day. DdHober Civil War Resources
