Henry was 8 in 1870 census 1876 Benton County Mo. State Census: Kilgore Henry 21/45, Elizabeth 21/45 Henry W. 10/18, William C. -10 {Age groupings were: Males - under 10, 10/18 18/21 21/45 45 and up; Females - under 10, 10/18 18/21 21/45 45 and up} Was 41 when Robert Gene Kilgore was born Jan 6, 1905 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Notification of Birth Registration, The United States of America Department of Commerce Bureau of the Census Washington. This certifies that the following Record of Birth is registered and preserved in the office of the State Registrar of Vital Statistics at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, No. d-55911 for Robert Gene Kilgore, Father Henry Washington Kilgore Age 41, Maiden Name of Mother Emma Ransom Age 32 (Filed: 3/24/1941) ---- Henry was b. March 04, 1861 Warsaw, Benton Co., Missouri, d April 19 1935 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery as you posted. He married Laura Emaline Ransom (she went by Emma L.). She was b. May 08, 1871, Ozark, Franklin Co., Arkansas, d. May 11, 1966, Eufaula, McIntosh Co., Oklahoma and buried on May 13, 1966, I believe also in the Greenwood Cemetery, though I don't know for sure. {with this posting I do now} They had 6 children: Arval Oren Kilgore, b. October 31, 1893; Hugh Andrew Kilgore, b. September 25, 1894, Eufaula, McIntosh I.T., OK; d. March 05, 1960 adn is burried in Greenwood Cemetery Row 2 Sec F; Baby Boy b&d June 09, 1903; Robert Gene Kilgore, I, b. January 06, 1905, Eufaula, OK, d. November 11, 1966, Downey, CA.; Henry Helen Elizabeth Kilgore, b June 28, 1907, Eufaula, McIntosh I.T., OK, and Ellen Dean Kilgore b. July 31, 1909, Eufaula, McIntosh, OK. [Her husband is also buried in the Greenwood Cemetery] These are the children listed in the 1920 census. The spellings that I have were given to me by Robert Gene Kilgore's wife, Theresa Marguerite Lier who are my husband's, Mike Rowe, grandparents. Henry Washington Kilgore was also a U.S.Marshell along with his brother-in-law Dick Ransom and worked out of Perry, OK. I have a group picture of the Marshell, which includes these two taken in Perry, OK. Henry had a pair of pearl handled six shooters which Mike's mom could remember seeing when she was little. You can see one of them in the picture. Henry Washington Kilgore's father was Hugh Kilgore b. abt 1842 and m. Elizabeth Rosengrants. They also had another son that I know of: William G. Kilgore who was 4 in 1860 Census, from MO. Census info for Hugh: 18 in 1860 Census Warsaw, Benton Co., Mo. 28 in 1870 Census Warsaw, Benton Co., Mo. We have a piece of a quilt which she made during the crossing. Hugh was the son of Washington Killgore b. abt 1811 m. Rachell?. They had 5 children, Hugh, William 15 in 1860 Census Warsaw, Benton Co., MO, Lafayette 10 in 1860 Census Warsaw, Benton Co., MO 1876 Benton County Mo State Census: Kilgore, Lafayette 21/45 Ester 21/45 Mary -10 Clarrissa - 10 John - 10 Baby -10 male, Sarah E. 7 in 1860 Census Warsaw, Benton Co., MO, came from MO 10 in 1870 Census, and Elizabeth 5 in 1860 Census Warsaw, Benton Co., MO, came from MO 13 in 1870 Census From here we have no proof of who Washington' s father is but believe him to be the Hugh of Caldwell Co., Kentucky.
