    3. The 1880 Census Index for the entire U.S. only shows 4 males named Wm. KILGORE b. betw/1855-65 b. in AL. One of them resides in GA in 1880 so he is prob. not your guy; the other three are still in AL, and I will send their info to you first. Please let me know if any of them appears to be your "guy" - if not, then we'll search other states. First one - already md. & has one child, a girl; prob. not yours 1880 Census Place: Huguleys Mill, Chambers, Alabama Source: FHL Film 1254005 National Archives Film T9-0005 Page 217C Relation Sex Marr Race Age Birthplace William KILGORE Self M M W 21 AL Occ: Works In Cotton Mill Fa: AL Mo: AL Anna KILGORE Wife F M W 20 GA Fa: GA Mo: GA Lena KILGORE Dau F S W 1 AL Fa: AL Mo: GA Thomas GOGGINS HBro M S W 12 AL Occ: Works In Cotton Mill Fa: GA Mo: AL 2nd: 1880 Census Place: Beat 13, Walker, Alabama Source: FHL Film 1254034 National Archives Film T9-0034 Page 110A Relation Sex Marr Race Age Birthplace Nancy KILGORE Self F W W 40 AL Occ: Keeping House Fa: AL Mo: AL William KILGORE Son M S W 17 AL Occ: Labor Fa: AL Mo: AL Georgia A. I do not know where either was born, but I do know that James Robert (Bob) Kilgore married Kate McNutt on 10 Aug 1905 in Cordova, Walker Co., AL. It has been passed down that William was probably born in AL, but went to OK and was somewhere in the Indian Territory in the 1890 and returned to AL about 1900. I have Bob and Kate in the 1920 census in Cordova. So in answer to your question, I do not have either family in any other census. I have tried to find them in the AL census, but I can't seem to find the right match. Any help with census into would be great.
